KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 (Bernama) – Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA), Universiti Malaya (UM).
“I am very pleased with this appointment and consider it as an honour,” he told reporters after delivering a public lecture entitled “Public-Private Partnership in Transforming Malaysia’s Economic Development” to mark the opening of a training course titled “Managing Diversity in a Globalising World: The Way Forward” organised by INPUMA.
The appointment letter was presented by UM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Amin Jalaludin at Dewan Tunku Chancellor, here today.
Dr Ali Hamsa also launched the official website of the Fourth College when visiting the college where he stayed as a student in 1978.
Adjunct Professor is a honorary title given to professionals, corporate leaders and those with expertise and experience in certain fields. — BERNAMA
