SANDAKAN, (Feb 15) — Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman appreciates the noble efforts of individuals with philanthropic traits in the state to help the less fortunate.
He said such traits would not only receive big rewards and benefits but also bring cheers to the needy to carry on their daily lives.
“I am deeply moved there are some fortunate people in the state who do not forget those in need and hope they will become a good model for others to emulate,” he said when officiating the Al Yakin children orphanage here.
He said such efforts should be continued and intensified to enable more less fortunate people to be given proper attention so that they are not sidelined by society.
The Al Yakin orphanage, which is located at Jalan Bunga Rotan here, houses 18 male orphans between aged 11-17.
All of the them are under the protection of Al Yakin orphanage, which opened since July last year, also received facilities and education in a school in the district. — BERNAMA
