PUTRAJAYA, (July 11) — The Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti) and the Global Children’s Wellbeing Fund have pledged to contribute US$50,000 and US$150,000, respectively for children and women in Palestine.
Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor hoped the donation would ease their burden and suffering, following the Israeli Defence Force air strikes on the Gaza Strip.
“The contribution to the Palestinians will be handed over at the next event,” the prime minister’s wife said at a ceremony to hand over the fund’s contribution for children affected by a recent flood in Bosnia Herzegovina, at Seri Perdana here today.
Under wane pretexts, Israel has launched its aggression on the Palestinians, killing over 85 Palestinian civilians and injuring over 700 since Ramadan, with the number still growing.
Rosmah, who is also patron of the Global Children’s Wellbeing Fund, handed over a US$30,000 contribution to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ambassador to Malaysia, Tarik Bukvic.– BERNAMA
